Section 62
Arrestable
: (1) If a person has committed an offense under section 43 of this Act and if he is not arrested immediately, the police officer may arrest such person without warrant.
(2) The person arrested in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be presented before the officer who hears the case within twenty-four hours, excluding the time limit for the journey.
